Unfortunately, I don’t have a back up of my themes, plugins and uploads folders so I lost all my files (except for my posts which is a good thing).

This week, I’ll start re-uploading all the images on my posts manually. Sigh. Btw, I already transferred this blog to a new host. I just hope I made the right choice.

Kuya Greggy loves hugging and kissing his baby sister. But needless to say, my little girl doesn’t like it very much. She cried and screamed at the top of her lungs a few minutes later. LOL.

Oh I love taking pictures of them! I Thank God everyday for giving me such wonderful blessings!

My CS operation was scheduled on the 18th of January, but my little girl could no longer wait to see the world. She came out on January 12 instead.

My son innocently looked up to me and asked if there were any relief goods being distributed in our community too. I told him, “Yes, there are people giving relief goods to some of our neighbors, baby.”

Then he asked again, “How come we’re not receiving any?”

“It’s okay, baby. There are people who need the relief goods more than we do. Daddy and mommy both have work, right?”

“Bakit wala po ba silang work?” (“Don’t they have work?”)

I explained to him that some of them do, but they don’t earn enough to support their family.

He still looked puzzled, “Mahirap ba sila, mommy?” (Are they poor?)

I was hesitant to answer, so I just gave him a nod.

“Eh mahirap din naman tayo ah!” (But we’re also poor!)

I laughed hard and shook my head. “Hindi ah!”

The truth is, I sounded a little defensive when I said that. LOL.

Most of the time he just likes doodling with his pencil. As in, he would just write anything he likes for the sake of writing. LOL. Sometimes if I ask him to write the letter A, he would tell me “No, mommy. Triangle na lang.”

Sometimes I wanna cry. LOL.

One day, I was able to convince him to practise writing using one of the many workbooks I bought for him. Kaya natuwa naman akong pagmasdan sya. Nauto ko rin sa wakas! Haha!

Look at his cute pictures. He enjoyed tracing the letters! And when he’s done, he told me: “Mommy, sakit ng hands ko…tired na po ako…”

Nakunsyensya naman ako. Hehe.

I’ve already spoken to his future teacher and she instructed me to go back next month for the enrollment.

Greggy knows how to count from one to ten and sing the alphabet since last year but due to lack of constant practice, sometimes he would forget some of the numbers and letters. So lately, we’ve been practising almost everyday to make sure that he won’t forget everything that he learned since he was two.

I also bought him some new coloring books. I’m quite sure he’ll do well in school! :-)

Quite true, isn’t it? My son is getting more and more inquisitive each day. He would ask questions like:

“What color is this or that, mommy?”
“What’s the English of ____?” (if he hears any unfamiliar tagalog words)
“Mommy, what’s this?” (pointing to an unfamiliar object)
“What did you say?” (if he hears something he can’t understand)
“What are you doing?”
“Are we in Mandaluyong/SM/Mall of Asia/wherever already?”

…And the list goes on. Sometimes he would give funny answers to our questions that really make sense. One time, while he was watching our wedding video, he asked me why he wasn’t there. Bakit daw si lolo, lola, tito, tita, etc. lang daw ang nakikita nya lagi.

His daddy and I looked at each other in disbelief. Then I explained to him, “Baby, you’re still in heaven with Papa Jesus that time that’s why you’re not with us on our wedding day…”

He seemed to have understood what I said and just continued watching the video. :-)

And we knew since then that he’s indeed growing up. Too fast…
