This morning, my little girl woke up really early – around 6 a.m. As soon as her brother left for school, she demanded that I spend time with her. She wanted me all for herself! LOL.

Thank you Lord for giving me this sweet little girl! I will always be grateful of your love each time I wake up. *wink*

Ayesha enjoys walking around grandma’s front yard while holding a chunk of apple in her hand. She munches on it occasionally.

How cute! She started walking a week after her 1st birthday. 2 months earlier than her big brother. Good job, baby girl!

I am happy to announce that my baby girl, Ayesha, turned 1 yesterday! *clap, clap*. And since her kuya Greggy will also be turning 5 a few days later (January 16), we decided to have one big birthday celebration for the two of them at Jollibee.

I only have one wish for my kids — that they would grow up knowing, loving, and following Jesus with all their heart and soul. When that happens, I know that everything else will follow. I am sure of that.

Yesterday was our neighbor’s daughter’s 7th birthday. Greggy was the girl’s escort on her special day. They look cute together!

The party was held in front of our neighbor’s house (which happens to be across from ours), so baby Ayesha and I stayed at our front yard and watched the party the whole afternoon while daddy took pictures at the party.

I’ve been disconnected from the blogging world for a long time. Oh well, needless to say, I have been busy with so many things. And one of the reasons is my baby girl’s dedication last Saturday. We only had two weeks to plan and prepare for the whole thing, but we’re thankful that it turned out well.

We didn’t have enough time to look for a venue that fits our budget. So we just decided to hold the event at my mom-in-law’s house and hire a caterer. It turned out that the roof top of her house was perfect for our 70 guests! A life-saver indeed! (or should I say budget-saver?! LOL)

Then, it was time to eat…The food was yummy! Thank God!

We are so thankful that our family and friends were there to celebrate with us as we dedicate our baby girl to Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that she grows up to be the lady that God wants her to be. After all, her name, Ayesha Kirsten, means “a beautiful follower of Christ.”

Baby Ayesha was so delighted to see all these gifts as soon as she woke up the next day!

I wonder why my baby girl likes sleeping this way when she’s on her back. She looks like she’s going to break her neck. LOL. She just turned four months!

Does she look like me?

Baby Ayesha is growing up really fast. She can now roll over on her own, so we can’t leave her unattended. She smiles (sometimes giggle) a lot, enjoys bath time, occasionally holds her feeding bottle and can you believe she’s already trying to talk? When we talk to her, she drools as she struggles to open her tiny mouth and responds by making funny sounds. How cute!

Thank God for this wonderful gift.
