I don't know if you're aware of the types of plastics and the number codes that they have. The honey-colored bottle of Avent falls under #7 which means the plastic material is NOT SUITABLE for heating purposes. The material of the Avent honey-colored bottle is made out of P.E.S...but it ISN'T Bisphenol-Free. If you check the Avent via Philips website, they honestly admitted that it was only in February of 2010 (this year!) that they decided to change the material of their bottles into BPA-FREE ones, which means all bottles before 2010 had BPA in them, and we all know how dangerous BPA is. There are other better brands that are truly BPA-FREE and that are REAL anti-colic baby bottles. When my son was born last July 4,2010, used Avent on him, but after a week, I switched to another brand because aside from the leaking bottles, my baby would still get gas. The brand that I'm using now is great! No leaking! No colic for my baby boy and is truly BPA-FREE! :-) It's just a little pricier than Avent, but it performs much better than Avent does! :-) Those honey-colored bottles of Avent aren’t BPA_FREE at all! I could imagine the hassles at night, yung tipong gutom na si baby pero nagloloko yung bottle. Im glad ok na ngayon, mababawi din ang nagastos.
